These words are often used as abstract terms so far removed from their origin that they become pixelated straw men. THAT is the problem. Loss of complexity and nuance. If these words carried their original complexity then it's not so easy to say that "liberalism is stupid." You need to define "liberalism" and "stupid" -- something that *very few people* who use those words can do. The internet gave us the TL;DR which castrated all of these words and left them as meaningless and arbitrary impressions. Superficial conversations frequently found on Twitter, limited to 255 characters per message convey conciseness, but they're just hyper-abstract and meaningless sequences of undefined words intended to stroke anger and hate.
