Is Jack Maxey the real deal? Good grief. Getting to be like that famous quote about the CIA doing their job so well, when no one is trusted. Thanks.

Senior,

Sorry, I don't know Jack Maxey. Can you put a link here to him? Will review, if you do.

Thanks.

So, just a quick review of available info shows that Jack Maxey represents himself as a journalist, doing investigative-type work and commentary.

Nothing fake about that. Anyone can do that, and it looks like Maxey's doing it well. Unless my quick review missed something, it looks like Maxey is who he says he is.

Benz is very, very different. He represents himself as a "cybersecurity expert" and as an "expert on the IC." And he's trotting around "revealing" dark secrets about the IC.

Benz is NOT those things. If he just represented himself as a commentator and "journalist," then he'd be fine. But if he did just stick to reality, no one would be interested in his blatherings.

Instead, he (and whoever his sponsors are) presents himself as having deep knowledge and secrets about the IC, building on his laughably short experience working in State IT.

Thanks. He did a lot in the background (well hidden) to get the facts of the Hunter Biden laptop to Senators. Which in turn, they did nothing. I don't want to assume that Rudy Giuliani and J. P. MacIsaac were also involved. This was revealed to me through a video within Larry Elder's email subscription newsletter, in 2020 or early 2021. He is on X, as well, and has been vocal now for 5 years.

His account on X is @jackmaxey1

Thank you. Years ago, I heard Dan Bongino's radio program, where he expressed surprise at some of Biden's actions. I emailed him, and said that California was the testing ground, and that Biden's job was to destroy the U.S. I never heard back, but then, I never expected to. A couple of weeks later, a woman called in (not me, not a Los Angeles-born Californian) who claimed that Biden was going to destroy the country. Pelosi out here has made this very clear, that her plan was to attack other States first, then the U.S. Not the only legislator, as Boxer, DiFi decimated our aerospace, aircraft, naval, military capability. California once had over 3,000 defense/aerospace/aircraft/naval contracts. It's now about 30.

I'm not a journalist, nor have I ever worked in government, with a brief exception of a non-profit attached to a major City. I saw illegal and unethical behavior and ratted it out. ('90s) Then got sacked for "lack of work" which wasn't. I was careful, and put copies into my purse. No one saw this, yet it was stolen out of my purse. Before I retired, I can count on 3X that I blew the whistle.

I'm proud of myself for doing so. I wish more people would speak up truth to power.

Should have added our family is probably considered military, although those who served don't boast about it. 4 Army, 2 Navy (1 SEAL), 1 Marine, 1 Air Force. Family worked for aerospace/aircraft firms, as did family friends. No employees were ever to speak of work or their projects. At one time, U.S. protected herself.

I do follow Benz from time to time and have found him thought-provoking. I don't seek much more than that from anyone who publishes anything on such matters. Genuine intelligence sources practically never publish anything. It should go without saying that the various media are instrumentalised by a wide range of interested parties, practically all with sinister motives.

The distinction between the IC and USAID is confused. It is possible that the mafias running the latter were bad apple alumni or associates of the IC. But it seems equally possible that the IC itself is deeply corrupt. Insiders will argue the toss endlessly. I can think of no good reason to imagine that the IC is any less corrupt than other institutions.

Kent, the point you made about the unkown party or parties behind Benz is excellent. This may or may not come out in time.

Thanks for your comments, Phillip.

"It is possible that the mafias running the latter were bad apple alumni or associates of the IC."

No, USAID and the IC are two parallel universes--there is no cross-over or mixing between the two. Since Obama/Powers days, the vile lash-up between neocons and PC-Progs figured out that they could bypass the oversight inherent in IC operations by using AID. Thus, AID seized covert action and Color Revolutions as their mission.

"But it seems equally possible that the IC itself is deeply corrupt."

Absolutely right! But you're missing that the CIA is also deeply incompetent at its actual mission--gathering, analyzing and disseminating foreign human intelligence. Their forte now is the types of operations that Brennan spear-headed--political entrapment ops, like the ones that snared Carter Page, Papadopolous, Flynn, and others. They've worked closely in these with the FBI, for whom entrapment ops are their staple approach.

So, yes, the CIA is both corrupt and incompetent. It needs cleaning out and refreshing, as we do need the capabilities envisioned by those who began the CIA.

Good general questions, widely applicable.

A couple specific ones: Flaw, or spin? Warps and distracts from, or comprises? Is/was MB (or an associate/apprentice) Sundance?

Is/was MB (or an associate/apprentice) Sundance?

I don't think so.

Sundance was doxxed several years ago. He's a grocery store vegetable department manager in Florida.

He tells a story of traveling to DC, and someone slipping a note under his hotel door. This led to meeting with the source--who appears to be someone who's spent at least some time in the federal bureaucracy, and who convinced Sundance that the source is a credible person to listen to about federal issues--including the intelligence community.

All of Sundance's theorizing about "how Washington works, with his metaphor of a restaurant with CIA and USAID and Israel, echoes Benz's babbling.

Benz being Sundance's "inside source" on DC, feeding his hasbarah spin to the most influential conservative blogger, fits perfectly with Benz's past and present operational approach.
